Dickies Arena is a 14,000 seat, spectacular multipurpose venue located adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus in Fort Worth, Texas. The arena is owned by the City of Fort Worth and managed by the not-for-profit operating entity, Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC). The state-of-the-art arena hosts concerts, sporting events and family entertainment, and is the new home to the Fort Worth Stock Show rodeo performances.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Suites Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of activities including, but not limited to, staffing, pre-event setup, event day operations, event specific opening/closing/check-out, reporting and payroll. A primary function of this position is to serve as a team member liaison and support the development and implementation of new ideas, practices and policies throughout the operation. The supervisor assists in monitoring staff, ensuring safety, sanitation and responsible service of alcohol, while striving for an optimal experience for guests. Days of week, shifts, hours & total hours per week for this position fluctuate depending upon the arena event schedule. The Suites Supervisor works closely with the Suites and Loge Box Management team to help provide insight into anticipated demand, as well as specific guest details/needs for each event. The Suites Supervisor is a full-time position that reports to the Suites and Loge Box Manager
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Determine and post necessary shifts per position for each event.
- Ensure staffing levels are adequate for each event working with temporary labor contractors where/ when needed.
- Maintain payroll; inclusive of timecard punches and the monitoring of labor spend.
- Maintain and inventory products and equipment in all pantries, as well as suite and loge box spaces.
- Assist the Suites Coordinator with ordering programs and updating all computer software with the appropriate suite information, menu selections, item descriptions, event availability, and prices.
- Direct any other inquiries (not regarding suites food and beverage) to the correct entity and/or personnel.
- Organize and maintain a filing system of event histories, reporting, etc. including all rodeo, sporting, concerts, and other events.
- Create and update various F&B documents such as inventory forms, suite details/filed requests, menu specs, and feedback forms as the season(s) progresses.
- Have complete knowledge of all menus, items, ingredients, and suite presentation.
- Work closely with the culinary leadership team; ensure appropriate production levels, assist with menu development, ensure accuracy in execution of all special requests, etc.
- For each event assist with the preparation and distribution of suite information, notes, and labels to supervisors and suite attendants.
- Lead and assist with distribution of products from pantries and kitchens to suites both before, during and after events.
- Conducts pre-shift meetings
- Visit each suite to ensure the atmosphere and quality of the presentation reflects the Dickies Difference for suite holders & guests before they arrive.
- Form a professional relationship with all interdepartmental personnel within Dickies Arena & Trail Drive Management.
- Expedite the communication of special food and beverage requests, late food and beverage orders, changes to any food and beverage orders, and guest-related issues to the appropriate entities.
- Ensure all suites are clean and all drinks and food are disposed of after each event
- Supervise closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking cabinets (where applicable), restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily Closing Duty and Ending Inventory checklist.
- Support the premium operations team as needed.
- Clearly communicate all necessary information throughout the food & beverage department, premium services, and corporate partnerships.
- Assist with new hire onboarding
- Understand and assist with execution of responsible alcohol service
- Understand and assist with execution of sanitation and food safety as it relates to the food and beverage industry
- Be comfortable with the arena and know how to navigate personally, as well as assist guests
- Support any other Food & Beverage departments as needed
- Support any other tasks assigned by the Dickies Arena Leadership Team

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
Exercises general supervision over suites & loge box team members and professional staff assigned to the department.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee will frequently operate a computer and other office devices such as calculators, telephones, copy machines, faxes and printers. Employee will constantly move about inside and outside various areas of the facility before/during/after events to interact with internal/external clients and supervise the work of employees during events. Employee must constantly communicate via telephone, radio and in-person with others and exchange accurate information. Employee will regularly spend most of their shift standing and walking, traversing stairs, with limited to no sitting. Employee may occasionally be required due to business demands and event operations to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. As business, maintenance, operations or emergency situations require, employee may sporadically assist in lifting/moving 100 lbs. or more. Employee must be comfortable with raised volume and/ or dark lighting in specific event settings.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a minimum 21 years of age
- Two (2) years of supervisor and or management experience in food and beverage; preferably in a restaurant or banquet setting
- Candidate should be knowledgeable in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and Outlook)
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and diplomacy
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail and proven customer service skills
- Exceptional organization and prioritization
- Works well with others; establishing and maintaining effective relationships with fellow workers and supervisors
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
