Dickies Arena is a 14,000-seat, spectacular multipurpose venue located adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus in Fort Worth, Texas. The arena is owned by the City of Fort Worth and managed by the not-for-profit operating entity, Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC).

Job Summary:

Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is looking for a part-time Parking Lot Attendant. This position is responsible for performing duties within the parking lots, entrances, and interior streets accessing the Arena.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage the ingress and egress of vehicle traffic at assigned access points on the exterior of the building.
  • Safely and efficiently flag cars into assigned parking lots and efficiently and effectively load the parking lots.
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly split and parked by vehicle permit.
  • Provide set-up and break down of signage and traffic management equipment around the exterior of the arena, to include freeways, intersections, and interior roads, in compliance with the traffic management program.
  • Respond to all requests for vehicle assistance and contact the appropriate personnel to facilitate the service.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Proven customer service experience, preferably in the service industry.
  • Must be positive, outgoing, and able to work well with others.
  • Proven experience dealing with conflicts and issue resolution.
  • Demonstrated sound organizational, coordinating, and personal interface skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional appearance required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including – nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to communicate effectively with management, guests, and team members.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Employees will work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures.
  • Employees must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 lbs.
  • Employees will regularly spend their shift standing/walking, traveling stairs, with limited to no sitting.
  • Employees may be exposed to high noise levels and/or fluctuating lights in event settings.
  • Employees must have the ability to reach, lift, and bend to perform job duties throughout the shift.
  • Employees may be exposed to hazards associated with moving vehicles and require strict adherence to safety protocols.
